Version3.9.0Team directory
Find teammates, check assistant status, and start conversations.
The Team directory is the full list of teammates in your organization, along with their assistant status.
Where to find it
You can open the Team Directory three ways:
- Click View all → in Dynamic teams when that link is available.
- Click the Team tab in the workspace tab bar.
What it does
- Lists active teammates who have completed onboarding.
- Shows each teammate's name, role, and their EA's status.
- Lets you search by name, email, job title, or EA name.
- Lets you start a chat directly from a row when messaging is available in your workspace.
How to use it
Find a teammate
- Open the Team Directory from View all → or the left navigation.
- Type into the search box. The list filters as you type.
- If your team spans multiple pages or views, use the navigation controls shown in the workspace.
Check someone's EA status
Each row shows the EA status next to the teammate:
- EA Active — their EA is ready.
- Setting up... — their EA is still being provisioned.
- No EA — the EA is disabled or not available for that teammate.
Start a conversation from the directory
- Find the teammate's row. A Message icon button appears on the right.
- Click it to open a 1-on-1 chat with that teammate. If their EA is available, your workspace may also let you include that EA.
- Send your first message. The conversation appears in your workspace chat panel.
Messaging options depend on how your workspace is configured.
Jump to Dynamic teams
When you only need to pick two or three people, Dynamic teams is usually faster. Use the Team directory for wider searches and status checks.
What to expect
- Only onboarded, active teammates appear. If someone was invited but hasn't signed in yet, they don't show up here — see Inviting teammates for how to track pending invites.
- EA status updates in the background. If a teammate's EA is unavailable, the row shows its current status.
- Messaging options depend on your workspace configuration.
Common questions
Why is my own row not in the Team Directory?
The directory lists your teammates, not you. Your own EA is always visible in the Assistants row of Dynamic teams, labeled Your EA.
Why do some teammates not have an EA?
Common reasons are that the EA is still being set up, has been disabled, or is not available in your workspace configuration.
Can I see who reports to whom?
Not on this page. The directory is for finding people and checking assistant status.
How do I remove a teammate?
Only org admins can remove members, from Settings → Team → Members. Removing a teammate also disables their personal EA.
Can I export the directory?
Export options depend on your role and workspace configuration.
